The Walchem Hydrogen Peroxide sensors have been replaced by a new and improved model
The main difference between old and new sensors is the membrane system. The rubber bands on the membrane cap have been eliminated which improves the long term stability of the readings and reduces the frequency of maintenance.

The new membrane system features a “G Holder” which is a separate cap within the membrane cap that covers just the gold tip of the electrode. This design eliminates a potential leak path for electrolyte.

New part numbers have been created for the new style sensors and their membrane caps. Old style replacement membrane caps are still available as spare parts for old sensors in the field. Old sensors are not compatible with new membrane caps. Old sensors can be recognized by “WP7” on the sensor label, while new ones will have “WP10” on the label.

The prices have not changed.

A chart has been added to the disinfection sensor manual and price book that shows the replacement parts for each type of sensor.
